Meet Our Counselors

Meet Leticia

My name is Leticia Sefia, and I am a graduate of Harvard University
I concentrated in Cognitive Neuroscience and Evolutionary Psychology with a secondary in Classical Civilizations.

I have over 4 years of counseling experience through Sefia Tutors, guiding students through the application to acceptance process.
Our students have been accepted into top universities, including Princeton, Dartmouth, Cornell, Georgetown, and more. I have also counseled international students through Project Access. Through this organization, students have been accepted into universities such as Washington University in St. Louis and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

After my acceptance to Harvard, I requested my admissions file, which gave me additional perspective on how applications are reviewed and evaluated. I draw on that perspective when guiding students through their own application process.

In my work with students, I support families with a customized college list that includes safety, target, and reach schools, personal statement and supplemental essay development with detailed feedback, extracurricular activity optimization, recommendation letters guidance, and a comprehensive application review.

If you are interested in the application to the acceptance process, feel free to schedule a consultation session below.

Meet Paula

Hi there, I'm Paula!

I am a fourth-year Computer Science and Cognitive Psychology student in the John Martinson Honors Program at Northeastern University.
My academic training spans rigorous computer science coursework and cognitive science, giving me a strong foundation in both analytical problem-solving and human behavior.

I have served as a five-time teaching assistant for Computer Science courses at Northeastern University and as a teaching assistant for the MIT Introduction to Technology, Engineering, and Sciences program. I have also served as a mentor with several student organizations, helping guide peers in academic planning and leadership development.

In addition to my academic roles, I have completed professional internships in information technology and data engineering, which have deepened my understanding of real-world applications for technology and data-driven decision-making.

In counseling sessions, I use my experience to help students clarify their academic interests, identify strong college programs that fit their goals, and prepare thoughtful applications that reflect their strengths. I support students interested in technology, engineering, and science-related pathways with personalized guidance through college selection, essay development, extracurricular planning, and the broader admissions process.

If you are interested in pursuing a college experience related to technology or STEM fields, I invite you to schedule a consultation session below.
